They’re back, in trouble with the law, and full of Christmas cheer.

JW Anderson presents “Sandie Stone’s Homebound for the Holidays”, a Christmas special follow-up to the award-winning JWA-TV. Justin Vivian Bond reprises her role as your favourite teleshopping presenter Sandie Stone, but this Christmas the angel has fallen from grace. After swiping one too many JW Anderson pieces from the JWA TV set, Sandie has run into some legal troubles. She is homebound for the holidays sporting a not so chic ankle bracelet.

But it’s not all bah humbug for Sandie as her partner in crime (pun intended) Joyce Nawmen stops by with her husband, Irwin, to spread some Christmas cheer. It’s a holiday extravaganza with a surfeit of one-liners and innuendo-laden tips on decorating the tree and wrapping gifts.

The returning role of Joyce Nawmen is played once again by NYC based multidisciplinary performer Jill Pangallo and the role of Irwin is played by Jeremy L.

A limited-edition, holiday t-shirt…

featuring an illustration of Sandie and Joyce by artist Pol Anglada is available exclusively at JWAnderson.com. Proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will benefit akt: a charity supporting lgbtq+ young people in the UK experiencing homelessness or living in hostile environments to find safe homes, employment, education or training and to celebrate their identities in order to improve their life outcomes.

About akt

akt is the national lgbtq+ youth homelessness charity, providing safe homes and better futures for lgbtq+ young people. Almost one quarter of all young people facing or experiencing homelessness identify as LGBTQ+, and 77 per cent of those cite rejection or abuse from their families as what has led them to being so. The charity was set up in Manchester in 1989 by straight ally and former foster carer Cath Hall, and a group of founding members, and has since opened its doors in Newcastle and London. In 30 years, akt has provided over 250,000 nights off the street and supported over 50,000 lgbtq+ young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

JWA-TV

In Spring of 2020 London-based luxury fashion brand JW Anderson launched JWA-TV, a tongue-in-cheek social media campaign that takes a cue from tele-shopping programs.

The three-part throwback video series focuses on JW Anderson’s signature handbag families with the first edition going live on 20th March featuring the brand’s Keyts bag. Stay tuned for later releases that will focus on the Anchor Logo and Bike families of bags.

The JWA-TV parody videos were shot in the style of a tele-shopping television broadcast featuring JW Anderson graphics and titles and professional presenters and spokesmodels.

The celebrity host Sandie Stone is played by trans-genre Tony-nominated cabaret performer and performance artist Justin Vivian Bond. Sandie’s cohost, Joyce Nawman, is played by Jill Pangallo, a NYC-based multidisciplinary performer and the role of spokesmodel Staci D is played by Amber, a veteran QVC on-air talent.
