Happy Go Sad (In Progress)
The Hypermedia Trilogy (2009 – Present)
Full-length, one-person, multimedia theater works that talk about identity, loneliness and the challenges of living in a hypermedia world.
Self-Appointed Expert (2011)
Nothing to Display (2010)
Let Me Entertain You (2009)
Note to Self (2008)
A series of mundane tasks performed in the company of a supposedly look-alike doll blur the artist’s relationship to the object.
Natia (2007 – )
A self-proclaimed healer seeks escape in her own, made-up religion—an uninformed mix of self-help, mysticism, magic, movement, and new age techniques.
The “Some Lady…” Series (2006 – )
Anonymous women doing a variety of banal tasks. These works are continuously accessible on YouTube and will not be modified in content nor will viewer feedback be altered or deleted.
The Nancy Project (2006 – )
A lonely, 40-something accountant seeks approval. A series of video diaries serve as an outlet for fantasies about her (non-existent) love life. Includes the 2008 off-shot, The Nancy Multiples (in the style of Roberta Breitmore).
Nohegan (2006 – 2009)
An art-making weekend with a focus on community, inspired by the summer camp experience of our collective youths. In 2010, Nohegan (now Nohegan East) was passed on to and is now expertly run by the enthusiastic and talented Houston-based group, the Art Scouts.
Era Silva (2003/2009)
A confused enthusiast’s ongoing mission to gain acceptance.
